Santino was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at York University, where he focused on Criminology and Human Rights and Equity Studies.
Santino attended law school at Bond University in Australia and obtained his Juris Doctorate, graduating with distinction honours.
From the young age of 16 years old, Santino worked at a boutique personal injury law firm in Toronto, assisting lawyers and paralegals in various capacities. Upon his Call to the Ontario Bar, he passionately advocated for injured clients and their access to accident benefits, short term and long term disability and CPP disability benefits. He also obtained settlement awards for people injured in both slip and falls and motor vehicle accidents.
In November of 2017, Santino decided to relocate to British Columbia permanently. Santino initially worked as Defence Counsel for a prominent ICBC Defence firm in Vancouver, where he obtained invaluable trial experience and assisted in handling complex personal injury matters and catastrophic injury claims.
Santino currently represents injured victims involved in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice and dog bites. He also has experience handling a variety of other legal matters including contractual disputes, non-complex wills and various other estate matters. Santino has argued before Adjudicators, Arbitrators, Masters and Judges of the Social Securities Tribunal, the Licensing Appeals Tribunal, Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Superior Court of Ontario and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
In his spare time, Santino is an avid golfer and gamer and also enjoys exploring the West Coast with his wife and puppy.
